Our Mission:
Steiros®, LLC is an infection care consulting company founded to prevent infections in medical facilities and among the population at large. Our mission is preventing and eliminating infections in a safe, simple, cost-effective way. Our clinically proven Steiros Algorithm® eliminates infection problems and outbreaks through novel protocols and education addressing infection treatment, infection prevention, and antibiotic stewardship. We are the experts at solving all your infection control problems.
What We Do:
Steiros®, LLC is the first infection control consulting company with a clinically proven global environment algorithm specifically designed to reduce Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI’s) resulting in better patient outcomes and lower costs. This includes infections caused by multi-drug resistant micro-organisms like MRSA and VRE. Founded in 2008 by Dr. Luke R. Watson MD, and Dr. Alfonso Torress-Cook, the Steiros Algorithm®, has been clinically proven to reduce the occurrence of HAI’s by up to 100%.

Along with our clinically proven Steiros Algorithm®, comes our product SteiroLotion™. Traditionally, most hospital and patient cleaning processes were performed using soap and water; however, as healthcare reimbursements have been ever decreasing, this was ultimately not cost effective. We eventually decided to develop our own products. Our rinse free, residual first aid antiseptic formula is a great alternative to bathing when caring for patients in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare environments, or for at-home use. SteiroLotion is perfect for personal cleansing when soap and water are not available. SteiroLotion cleans and disinfects cuts, scrapes, and burns, helping to prevent skin infections.

The Steiros Algorithm® rapidly reduces hospital-acquired infection rates caused by all pathogens in all patient care areas throughout the facility, not just ICU’s and not by simply targeting specific types of infections such as MRSA. This leads to dramatic improvement in patient outcomes and increased the quality of care while concurrently reducing the cost of medical care.
